Welcome to my professional website which acts as an introduction to some of my background skills and knowledge that I have accomplished since leaving college in 1997.
Since starting out in the banking and telecommunication sectors, I have been able to use the transferable skills gained to run two businesses and complete an undergraduate degree during my 30's and 40's.
Sadly my first business was forced to close during the COVID pandemic but it gave me the opportunity to follow my degree studies into the world of ecology, land management and lecturing.

The Garden as an Ecosystem
My introduction to habitat garden design, creation and management featured in Little Green Space Magazine and shows a brief insight into my research combining companion planting with a space for nature. These spaces can be created in any garden or greenspace and serves to introduce and boost biodiversity in a self-sufficient, low-maintenance way.
