ABOUT ME

In 2015 I started studying with the Open University on a BSc in Natural Sciences and was drawn to focussing specifically on Environmental Science. In October 2022 I transferred my completed modules over to a BSc (Hons) in Combined STEM, with the same University.

The degree so far has taught me many skills and helped me to develop my learning through various techniques and modules. Due to the development of this degree, I have been given the opportunity to create a space in an old Kitchen Garden on the estate we live on and turn the space into a research area for a more practical use of the skills I'm learning. I aim to be able to adapt these skills into a working role and am actively searching for entry level roles within Estate/Land Management and the Environmental Management, Ecology and Conservation sectors.

The next pages show in more detail what I have worked on to date and continues to change as my skills and knowledge develops so please keep an eye on my website to be kept up to date.

I have also completed two Level 4 Diplomas with Stonebridge Associated Colleges in Environmental Improvements and in Environmental Legislation and Policy, and in July 2020 I also became a student member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) which helps me to continue to develop my skills through a guided CPD framework. Alongside this, in May 2023, I started a BTEC in Countryside Management with Plumpton College which aims to strengthen and develop my land-based skills and knowledge.

A summary of my history is below but for more details on my studies, please visit the "My Studies" page above where you will find what I have done and what I am currently studying.
